Questions, answered
Is the price really fixed?
Yes. Your price is fixed for the items on your list, whether the move takes two hours or six. It only changes if you add items that weren't on your list (or remove some), and those are priced the same way as your quote.
Do you charge more at weekends?
No. You pay the same price Monday to Sunday. Book a weekday at least 14 days ahead and you'll get 10% off.
How much is the deposit?
30% of your fixed price, paid securely online to reserve your date. The balance is due on moving day.
Can I cancel or change my date?
Yes. Cancel 7 or more days before your move and we refund your deposit in full. Between 48 hours and 7 days before, we refund 50% of it. Within 48 hours the deposit isn't refundable, because we'll have turned other work away for your date. Date changes are free with 7 days' notice, subject to availability. Full terms.
What if something gets damaged?
Tell us in writing (WhatsApp or email) within 7 days of your move, with photos. We'll look into it and handle the claim under our goods-in-transit cover of up to £10,000 per van, subject to our insurance terms.
Are my belongings insured?
Yes. Every van carries goods-in-transit cover of up to £10,000, subject to our insurance terms.
What's included in the price?
The movers, the van, fuel, mileage, blankets and straps, plus loading and unloading at both addresses. Stairs and long carries are priced in when you tell us about them in the quote tool.

Anywhere within 50 miles of Slough, including all of London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Hertfordshire and parts of Oxfordshire and Hampshire. See all areas.
What if I forget something on my list?
Message us before moving day and we'll update your price. On the day, any extra items are charged at the same rates as your quote.
