Insurance cover

Every Easy House Movers van carries goods-in-transit insurance of up to £10,000. This covers your belongings while they're in our care during your move.

What's covered

• Accidental loss of or damage to your belongings while we load, transport and unload them
• Up to £10,000 in total per van, per move

Important terms

• Cover is subject to our insurer's policy terms, conditions, exclusions and excess.
• Please tell us before your move about any single item worth more than £500, so we can confirm it is covered.
• Any damage or loss must be reported to us in writing within 7 days of your move, with photos where possible.
• Items you pack yourself are covered for damage caused by our handling. Damage to contents inside boxes you packed, where the box shows no outside damage, may not be covered.
• We recommend keeping cash, jewellery, important documents, medicines and irreplaceable items with you during the move.
• Pre-existing damage, wear and tear, and items that are fragile by nature (such as particle-board flat-pack furniture) may be excluded.
